What is it
Wijdan’s silent book club offers a space for people to gather, meet new friends and read without the hassle and pressure of assigned readings! The idea is based on models of silent book clubs that are growing in popularity in Europe and the USA.
What to expect
After gathering and settling in, we introduce ourselves and what we’re reading before immersing ourselves in an hour of uninterrupted reading. Afterwards, those who wish engage in discussions about what they’ve read or exchange reading suggestions.

Wijdan’s Writing Book Club
What is it
Wijdan’s writing club is a space for all writers, whether in fiction or non-fiction, to have some peaceful time to immerse themselves into their writing.
What to expect
After gathering and settling in, we introduce ourselves and what we’re working on, and then dive into an hour and a half of uninterrupted writing. Regardless of writing routines, styles or type of work, Wijdan’s writing club is for everyone.
