I’m tired of being looked at;
As if I’m doing something worthy;
I’m losing all my charm,
Got nothing to show at all.
The jewels are rusting like wheels;
I’m losing the appetite for any meals.
But I never win the way I want,
Just a failed star that was born.
Some say I’m lucky to have even made it here.
Maybe that’s all you were supposed to get –
You have used all your potential,
And you’re just a good average one.
I want to be better than good, too.
I’m trying hard to get there,
But I fail every time I try,
And lose every time I cry.
Standing in the back, ignored,
My voice is silent and my thoughts unknown.
I’m just a figure in a blurry photograph;
All this makes me want to frown.
